...Within two weeks of contacting Mary Sue I had an offer from my new employer and two other opportunities in process. When I was first contacted by Mary Sue, I was working for a Big Six public accounting firm and I was satisfied in my position as a Business Consultant. Looking to always keep my options open, I spoke with Mary Sue About my future plans and goals. I must admit, after receiving several calls from placement organizations in the past and from comments made by my co-workers at my former company, I was somewhat skeptical in dealing with a placement company. However, after elaborating on the ideal position I was ultimately looking for which involved working within a large, public corporation with significant domestic and foreign travel, I became very interested in the position Mary Sue described to me.

During the next several weeks, I felt somewhat uneasy with the idea of leaving the firm I was with. To ease those concerns, I spoke with Mary Sue many times. She was always available, even late into the evening, often encouraging me to call her at home. If I had to leave a message, she always returned my call within 20-30 minutes. If I had a question she did not have the answer to, she was very prompt in asking the new company the question and responding to me. She also respected my privacy in that I did not want to publicize my interest in a new position to my former firm.

The one thing that made me the most comfortable with Placement Solutions was how honest about the position Mary Sue tried to be. Obviously, she didn't know 100% about what the position involved, however, Mary Sue tried to convey as much as she knew about the job. With some of the other recruiters I had dealt with, I had the feeling that they were just trying to fill a position and earn a commission; my experience with Placement Solutions was not that way.

Currently, I have been in my new position for four weeks and so far, everything promised has been delivered. The company is a $12 billion dollar public company and I'm travelling in Europe and in Asia. I would, and have, recommended Placement Solutions to friends and co-workers...
